Mike Legens Sr., age 69, of Westerville, Ohio, left this world and went peacefully into the arms of his Lord on Sunday November 5, 2017. He will now join his beloved pets at the "Rainbow Bridge", and is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of 48 years; his kids; grandkids; and many other family and friends. He is remembered as a proud Navy veteran, a historian, a Civil War enthusiast, an aviation fan, and most of all a merciful caregiver of rescued pets. His compassion for so many furry companions will never be forgotten.
Family will receive friends on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 1:30-4:30pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, where a service will follow vistation.
