Michael Errett McDonald, age 70, of Westerville, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Michael was born May 14, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Dr. Lee E. and Geraldine N. (Weider) McDonald. Also preceded in death by his son: Michael McDonald. Michael was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was a licensed, avid amateur radio operator and active member of the West Central Ohio Amateur Radio Association.
Michael is survived by his daughter Amy McDonald (Columbus) and sons: Matthew McDonald (Columbus), Thomas McDonald (Columbus), and Jason McDonald (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). He is also survived by his sister, Melinda Alexander (Gary), brother, Scott McDonald (Julie) and nephew, Andrew Alexander.
A private service will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to ASPCA at ASPCA.org in Michael’s memory.
