Michael "Tony" Waugh

A memorial service for Michael “Tony” Waugh, 72 of Newark, will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 3:00 PM at More Life Church, 1718 East Main Street, Newark, with Pastor Josh Pennington officiating.

Michael was born in Ward, West Virginia on August 25, 1938 to the late Lemmon B. and Nancy J. Waugh. He passed away at Flint Ridge Nursing Home on November 1, 2010.

Prior to retirement, Michael worked for the Jerry McClain Company, Sam Alban Furniture, Walker Manufacturing and Larsan Manufacturing Company. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers fan, Los Angeles Dodgers fan, enjoyed golfing, vegetable gardening, listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Waugh and Erin Waugh, both of Newark; two grandchildren, Logan Michael Rostofer and Parker Cruz Stillion; brothers, Jack, Paul and Brady; sister, Charlotte; and best friend, Connie Waugh.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Della.
