

Mildred L. Geller, age 104, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. The oldest of 10 children, she was born September 23, 1912 in Galloway, Ohio to the late James and Grace (Lodge) Wright. After graduating from Columbus Central High School in 1930, she later moved to Springfield, Ohio where she was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother and caregiver to many. Mildred remained active with her duties at Oakland Presbyterian Church, enjoyed travels with her family and loved reading books and her morning tea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene McKeever; siblings, Mae Steinhoff, J. Forrest Wright, Eldon Wright, Bernice Hannum, Juanita Scoles, James Wilbur Wright, Ruby Patrick, June Rigdon, and Joy Wright; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Wright. Mildred is survived by her son-in-law, Larry McKeever; grandchildren, Melissa (Tony) Angelo, Matthew McKeever; great-grandchildren; Madison Angelo, Jake Angelo, Lindsay (Paul) Taulbee; great-great-grandson, Chase Taulbee; sister-in-law, Arlene Wright; special caregivers, Melissa and Emily Fife; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Galloway Presbyterian Church, 6191 Hall Rd., Galloway, Ohio 43119 with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Rev. Thom Shuman officiating. Interment Galloway Cemetery.
