Mildred Irene Thompson

Mildred Irene Thompson, age 87 of Gahanna, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Mildred was born and raised in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence and Golda Green. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Thompson and brother, Robert Green. Mildred was a very sweet and independent lady who could sometimes have a feisty personality. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and just sitting watching the birds. Most of all however, Mildred loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than getting together with them and spending time together. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Paula (Edward) Dennison, Alice (Dr. Joe) Wassel, and Marilyn (Douglas) Hay; grandchildren, Chris, Adam, Amanda, Angela, Emily, Mary and Maggie; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Cavanaugh and Ruby (Lawrence) Neal; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
