Mona Lee Moore

Mona Lee Moore, 77, passed away February 6, 2015. She was born January 18, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Euan and Mary Taraba. Mona was a 1955 graduate of Sacred Heart Business H.S. and was retired from the City of Columbus Parking Violations Bureau. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo at the Spacecoast RV Park in Rockledge, FL. She also enjoyed camping, dancing, and playing solitaire on the computer. She was a member of the Triangle Chapter O.E.S. #592 and a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #11208. Mona was a past PTA President for Georgian Heights Elementary and Wedgewood Jr. High. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling "Benny" Moore. Mona is survived by her children, Thom (Christine) Moore, Julie (Jim Motokai) Olson, and Mike (Colleen) Moore; grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Fairley and family, Craig Swinburne, Amber (Derrick) Shavers and family, Justin Moore, Rian Moore, Christopher (Sam) Olson, Holly (Tim) Tyus and family, Camren Dingess, Tarah Olson and Brittnee Moore; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, February 9, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City with OES service at 7pm. Funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday with Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Funeral luncheon will follow at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, 43123.
