

Nancy M. Anderson went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy is survived by her two sons Tom Anderson (Anne Marie Booye), John Anderson (Lisa Marie Rozanski), her daughter Kristen Marie Wotsch (Jason Wotsch) and her brother Tim Beach (Carol Beach). Nancy had 6 grandchildren Morgan, Carly, Owen, Tommy, Olivia and Aiden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Anderson and parents, Clarence and Sharon (Enochson) Beach.
Nancy was born on June 21, 1936 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1954. She then earned her degree from the University of Minnesota in 1958 where she studied Education and Music. That same year, she married Thomas Anderson, the love of her life at St Mark's Lutheran Church in Minnesota. She taught in Maryland and then Ohio in the Northwest Local School District where she especially enjoyed teaching her students math.
Nancy truly loved her Lutheran faith and was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Akron where she taught Sunday School, played the organ, and sang in the choir. She also had a true passion and love for classical music. She was active with the Tuesday Musical Association where she loved working with the aspiring musicians. She also attended the Cleveland Orchestra concerts at Blossom every summer.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, swimming and the beach whenever she could get there. She will be remembered as a devout Lutheran and was so proud to have developed young minds for over 30 years as a dedicated teacher, lover of music, and most importantly as a mother and grandmother. She held all of her family very close to her heart.
Visitation will be held 10-11 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Washburn McReavy-Crystal Lake Chapel, 3816 Penn Ave N, Minneapolis, Minnesota with Graveside Service to follow at 11 AM. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 23rd at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4700 South Main Street, Akron, OH with visitation from 10-11 am. Memorial Donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association or Messiah Lutheran.
