Nancy Gardner Tenuta

Nancy Gardner Tenuta, age 84, died peacefully Monday, January 19, 2015 at home. Devoted wife and mother. Born September 16, 1930 in Troy, Ohio. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Peter Tenuta; parents, Russell Wilson Gardner and Grace Robosson Gardner; brother, Robosson and sisters, Jane and Priscilla; and her beloved dog, Tiger.

Survived by her children, Luigia, Louis (Cynthia), Jonathan (Dori), Benjamin (Cara), Joshua, Joachim (Rita), and Alicia (David) Cohen; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her loving dogs, Buddy and Maggie. Graduated Miami University, Oxford, Ohio; post graduate studies University of Wisconsin and The Ohio State University.

Retired Battelle Memorial Institute Principal Research Scientist. Member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial and interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Madison, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that contributions be made in her memory to a charity of good works for others. On her behalf, a special note of gratitude to Fr. Beck’s The Sunday Mass; to Fr. Droll of St. Andrew Catholic Church and to Ohio Health Home Hospice.
