

Natalie D. (Eader) Ridgway, age 31, peacefully passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on November 29, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family. A Columbus native, Natalie was born on March 9, 1983. She graduated with honors from Westerville North High School, Class of ’01 and attended The Ohio State University where she obtained her Bachelors in Medical Dietetics and Masters in Clinical Nutrition. Professor Ridgway was an OSU member of Columbus Public Health, Maternal and Child Health, WIC Advisory Council, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the Ohio Columbus Dietetic Association. Natalie had a competitive spirit and winning attitude. She took pride in nutrition education and was inspiring to many students, colleagues, family members and friends. Natalie enjoyed being a healthy mother. She was a Dietitian for Moms2B and helped to start the Why Kids Are Fit program at YMCA North. Natalie was passionate about her children and was dedicated to being the best mother, wife, sister and friend. Those left behind to cherish her memories are…Her best friend and husband, John Ridgway; her two greatest gifts in life, Reid and Graham and cherished dog, Libby. Father, Gary Eader; brother, Matt (Kris) Eader, nieces Sydney & Brooke; twin sister, Nikki Eader and Grandpa Pat Hone. In addition to father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Linda Ridgway; brothers-in-law, Josh (Talia) Ridgway and Pat (Cheryl) Ridgway; sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Chris) Goubeaux and Jill Ridgway; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and countless supportive friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Eader; and maternal grandmother, Kaye Hone. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Rd., Columbus, OH 43221. Fr. Dean Mathewson, Celebrant.
