Nikki Sutherland-Cohen

Nikki Sutherland-Cohen, age 29 of Williamsport, died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 9th at 5:30 P.M. She was born in Columbus Ohio July 28th 1983 to mother Cynthia Barnhill and father Michael Sutherland. She has a sister Dannie Sutherland, and 3 beautiful boys, Lucas List, Noah Cohen, and Isaiah Cohen. Also survived by Aunt Sue (Jim) Barnhill-Nogawick; paternal grandparents Robert Sutherland of Mt. Gilead and Cyble (Frank) Andrews of Florida; and a large amount of close-knit friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Martha Barnhill.

She graduated from Circleville High School in 2001 and was an active member in the show choir where her love of dance began. Nikki became a professional ballroom dance instructor at Fred Astaire in Columbus and continued on with her profession in Circleville for Simply Dancing Studio. She was a beautiful woman with a wonderful soul that forever found the humor in life. She loved her 3 boys, and her mother was her best friend. Having her life taken at such a young age leaves many pages unturned and she will be greatly missed. She will be in our hearts forever.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 15th, 2013 in the chapel of Defenbaugh-Wise- Schoedinger Funeral Home with Dr. Doyne N. Wiggins officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Please bring a smile and a warm embrace.
