Noah Glenwood Turner

Noah Glenwood "Glen" Turner, 85, of Gahanna, OH formerly of Crescent, PA passed peacefully into heaven Monday, October 3, 2016. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Wilton and Nannie Kate Turner; sister, Lois Hall; brothers, Rev. Larry Turner, E.T. Turner and Kenneth Turner. Surviving are his beloved wife of 59 years, Barbara Burns Turner; daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Roger Bushee', Apex NC and Gail and Dan Golombowski, Gahanna OH; grandchildren, Cade Bushee' and Jenna Golombowski; sisters-in-law, Jean Turner, Richmond VA and Becky Turner, Rocky Mount VA; nieces and nephews. Glen served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 serving a year in Korea. He is retired from Duquesne Light Company, Pittsburgh PA. Most important in Glen's life was his love of the Lord and leaving a faith legacy for his family. He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed the trout streams and rivers in Western PA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Road, Gahanna OH 43230. Memorial contributions may be made in Glen's memory to Peace Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association-Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
