Norma Klinges Jacks, age 96, of Canal Winchester, passed away, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at The Inn at Winchester Trail. She was born July 24, 1925 in New Lexington, OH, only child of John F. and Marietta (Teal) Klinges. She was a volunteer with Mount Carmel East Hospital for 14 years and then for five years at Diley Ridge Medical Center. Norma is survived by her two daughters, Mary Beth Hickle and Cindy (Steve) Graves; grandsons, Matt (Cat) Graves and David Hickle; great grandchildren, Bella, Laken Graves, Shai Sanborn and Cayley Westfall. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Jacks and son Jay Jacks. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Canal Winchester and active in the United Methodist Women and in their food pantry. Previously, she was an active member of Eastview United Methodist Church where she was active in the Bell Choir and volunteered at the food pantry for many years. She was an avid golfer with her husband Bill and played in the Blacklick Woods and Groveport Golf Leagues. Norma was always active in her children’s school PTA’s, Broad St. United Methodist Homemakers Club, Buckeye Belles (Singing Buckeyes), Bridge Clubs, and the Altrurian Club.
