Olga "Jean" Gilliam

Olga "Jean" Gilliam, 84, of Orient, passed peacefully, Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was born July 1, 1929 in Van Lear, KY to the late Jake and Mary (Castle) Webb. She was a member of Southwestern Church of Christ and an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Herman Eugene Gilliam, siblings Mabel Garringer, Bonnie Peacock, Bessie Daniels, Hershel Webb and Bobby Webb. She is survived by children Brenda (Otis) Hawkes and Jimmie Eugene Gilliam, grandchildren Kristina Kelli Ream, Jennifer Kay Ream, Joshua Otis Hawkes and Austin Alexander Hawkes, siblings Phyllis Burke, Ernestine Lipps, Lorraine Busi, Paul Webb and Howard Webb, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 2:30-5:30 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1 PM at Southwestern Church of Christ, 3767 Grove City Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery.
