Pamela H Leonard, age 72, passed into the loving arms of our Lord on May 4, 2025 surrounded by her family, after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She is survived by her children, Anthony and Kelly, her sister Nancy Lippott, brother, Tom (Barbara) Hudson, Aunt Barbara Hudson and Melissa Taylor. She is also survived by her mother in law, Joyce Leonard and sister in law, Michele Leonard. Pam joined her beloved husband, Randal, who predeceased her in April 2023. She is also predeceased by her parents, Dr. Dale (MaryLou) Hudson, Allan Leonard, and Kyle (Sharon) Leonard. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends whom she cherished.
Pam was born December 11, 1952 in Piqua, Ohio and graduated from Piqua Central High School. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Education from Bowling Green State University. Pam was introduced to her husband Randy through her sister, Nancy, who felt they would be a better fit together! They enjoyed 40 beautiful years together, committed to raising their 2 children and being active members at Northwest United Methodist Church, where they served in many choir programs, hospitality events, committees, Bible studies, youth group activities and many mission trips and programs. Pam had a long career serving others in Human Resources and Volunteer Services. She retired after 17 years as Church Administrator at Northwest United Methodist Church. She faithfully served as an integral part of the Church Staff and will be remembered fondly for her welcoming smile and positive spirit.
Pam was known for her beautiful singing voice, sharing her talent throughout her life in many musicals and productions, including Vaud-Villities and the Columbia Gas Chorus along with her husband, Randy. She was also a long time member and special soloist with the Northwest UMC Choir. She enjoyed sharing her gifted voice in weddings, funerals and many special events.
Pam possessed a true servant’s heart, a loving and steadfast friend, she was usually the first one to do anything for anyone. She was known for sending special cards and personal notes and was always available to provide her time wherever needed. Throughout her life, she and Randy enjoyed many special vacations and cruises with family and friends, always looking forward to the next adventure. She lived her life strengthened by her faith, a true light to all who were blessed to know and love her. May she rest in eternal peace.
Celebration of Life service will be held July 19, 2025,11:00am at Northwest United Methodist Church, visitation starting at 10:00am. Cremation and arrangements by Schoedinger Northwest Funeral Home.
