Pamela Rollins, 61, of Columbus, passed away on November 12, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1960, in Clarksburg West Virginia, to the late Earl and Dora (White) Rose. In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her brother, Warren "Bill" Rose and her mother and father-in-law, Ross and Wanda Rollins.
Pamela was a graduate of Buckeye Valley High School. Pamela was a hard worker and started working at the age of 14. She did everything from waitressing to painting buses to building house and finally ended up working at the Walmart Distribution Center.
She was known as having a very tough exterior and her working career resembled that. However, on the inside she was known as being the most loving and caring person. She loved the mountains and especially loved water. She had a passion for ponds and had several of her own which she took great pride in caring for. In addition, Pamela loved to garden and would often be seen caring for her gardens around her ponds. She loved to see things thrive.
Pamela will be greatly missed by her husband, James Rollins; siblings, Donna Lowther, James Rose, Steve (Sallie) Rose, and Robin Rose; brother and sisters-in-law's, Russell (Betsy) Rollins, Carl (Kendra) Rollins, Donna Moran, and Gary Rollins. Although Pamela did not have any kids of her own, she was a "Nana" to many and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5PM until 6PM at Central Baptist Church, 1955 Frank Road, Columbus OH, 43223. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pamela's name may be made to the Columbus Humane Society at https://www.columbushumane.org/ or the Central Baptist Church at https://centralbaptist.givingfuel.com/cbc-offerings
