Pamela Sue Smith, 61, of Columbus, died Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born February 26, 1952 in Columbus to Mary (Miller) Smith and the late Louis Smith. She was a graduate of West High School and retired from Columbus State Hospital. She was a member of Westhill Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her nephew Jason Abshire and brother-in-law John Abshire. She is also preceded by her pet dog Snowflake In addition to her mother, Pam is survived by siblings Wanda Abshire, James Smith and Rosemary Smith, nieces and nephews including Mary (John) Cobb and Dee (John) Abshire, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 5-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10 AM.
