Patricia Lee Hammond-Hensel

Patricia Lee Hammond-Hensel, age 74, of Columbus, died December 25, 2021 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center. Born Patricia Lee Adams, Pat was raised in Worthington Ohio and graduated from Worthington High School. Pat's family makes this announcement with great sadness as she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Pat worked for many years for Meals on Wheels where she loved serving those in need. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband John were part of the "extended family" at Helen's Pub and Grub. Pat is preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Hammond and John Hensel. She is survived by her children, Beth (Bryan) Shook, Kim (Scott) Fyke, Marci Hammond, Joe (Ashli) Hensel, and Christopher (Marcia) Nagy; she is survived by her grandchildren, Haley Martinez, Gabrielle Hensel, Abigail Hensel, Madison Hensel, Bailey Hensel, Nicole Mavromatis, Kelli Mavromatis, Rachel Quinn, Austin Sabo, Ashleigh Nagy, Matthew Nagy, and William Nagy; sisters, Chris (Fran Becker) Adams, and Cathy Adams; brother, Terry Adams; niece, Brenda Adams and other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 4-6:00pm Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger - Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue.
