Patricia Ann Johnston

Patricia Ann "Pat" Johnston, age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at home. Pat was born on June 16, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking dinner and having everyone over to spend time together particularly on the holidays. Pat will be missed dearly by the ones who loved her especially her beloved husband, James with whom she shared 60 loving years. She was dedicated to being an amazing "mother" to her children, grandchildren as well as too many others. Pat was a giver, a healer, loving and wise. She was able to give a listening ear when anyone needed it. Pat would tell everyone that everything will be alright and they knew it would be. Preceded in death by her mother, Almeada Lowe and grandchildren, Anthony and Justin. She leaves behind her loving husband, James Johnston Sr.; children, James Johnston Jr. (Loretta Gregory), Michael Johnston (Robin); Joann Johnston (Brian Ross), Christopher Johnston (Jennifer Blair) and Michelle Johnston (Matthew Saulsbury); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W.
