Patricia “Patsy” Jane Layman passed away June 16, 2025 in Naples, Florida. She was the wife of Robert (Bobby) Layman for over 64 years who passed away in 2014. Patsy was born January 5, 1934, the daughter of Clifford and Fern Maupin who predeceased her along with her husband; grandson Michael Stone; granddaughter Jamie Kau; and all of her brothers.
She had a long and wonderful life full of family and friends! She will be greatly missed. Patsy is survived by her children Linda Layman, Rick Layman, Robert (Debbie) Layman III, Cherri (Elliot) Miller, Jeffrey Layman and Mick (Debra) Layman; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren!
Bobby and Patsy saw the world together as they traveled. Patsy’s most loved country was Africa as she was amazed at the tribes and animals. She was an animal lover; horses, dogs, cats or whatever she could have. As a young girl she showed horses and won many prizes.
Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 3500 Mill Run Drive, Hilliard, Ohio with a visitation at 10:00am, memorial service to follow at 11:00am, followed by food and fellowship.
The family requests all donations go to Jace Rosse Layman Foundation at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus in the name of Patricia J Layman.
