Liz, Steve and family -  We will miss Pat so much at Riverside.  I work in the Chemistry lab.  Pat was always willing to answer any microbiology question I had.  She cared deeply about the quality of what she did.  I also enjoyed talking to Pat about having kids in band - she was so proud of having a daughter in TBDBITL, and a son at Michigan State.  I admired Pat for persevering through all her treatments.  Thank you for sharing her with us.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

There are so many memories of Pat, Mrs. S, as my girls call her--

Taking our 3 year olds to classes at Whetstone rec. center.
Trying to teach our 6 year old frilly girls how to play soccer.
Chatting the summers away as our kids swam in her backyard pool.
Canoeing, tipping, canoeing until the sun set.
Driving our kids to summer camp and getting lost on the way home.
St. Tim’s sciene fairs & experiments with our girls.
Watching Stevie as a baby when she went back to work.
Years of basketball and volleyball games.
Being Watterson band parents – games, competitions & trips to Florida, & lets not forget the many hours of sub making.

The beautiful wedding of Liz & Brian – what a proud and happy mother she was!

Watching her strength as she helped her mother in her last years & what a kinship she has with her Dad!
I’m so blessed to have Pat been a big part of my families’ life. She’s the epitome of what a good daughter, mother and grandmother are.  The memories of her will go on forever.
I’ve never met a stronger character, funnier or sweeter, Christian woman. She knew which way her compass pointed and she never wavered. She has fought a hard battle and stayed positive and laughed at life all through it. I’m happy she is at peace with our Lord, but a big piece of me has gone with her and I will greatly miss her.

Dear Elizabeth, Steven, Mr.Triggs and family,

Just want you to know how much I loved and respected Pat.

I met her around 30 years ago when she arrived at Riverside, and have learned much from her ever since. She was one of the smartest and most loyal people I have ever known.  As a coworker she never ceased to amaze me with her knowledge about everything! Every conversation I had with her would add to my ability as a microbiology tech. She truly was my  #1 mentor, and I have been so grateful for her support all these years.

She had a fabulous sense of humor and kept us laughing on many occasions with her stories about this and that. I loved to hear her laugh and take even difficult times in stride.She strove for perfection, but had a down to earth attitude.

She loved each of you so MUCH! She was so proud of her family. You each meant the world to her. Elizabeth , she was so proud of you, so happy you met a great guy and found happiness with family and career. Steven, I remember the day she took you home from Riverside. She was so happy, and you have brought her much  joy.  Mr. Triggs, I am the coworker who Pat discovered through a lunchtime conversation, might be related to her (my greatgrandmother was a Triggs, born in Southern Ohio).We often laughed and joked  about that special connection.

Please know that all of us at Riverside Ohiohealth will miss her greatly. She meant a great deal to all of us and will never be forgotten.
