

Patrick W. Craighead, affectionately known as ‘Drummer Man” and lifelong resident of Columbus, OH, left this earthly world on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 at the age of 57. He was born on March 8th, 1964 in Kimball, West Virginia to the late Holcomb and Henrietta Craighead.
Patrick was a graduate of Eastmoor High School, Class of 1983. He went on to serve our country by enlisting and serving with the United States Army in 1984. He was honorably discharged in 1987. Patrick also devoted his time as a decorated and talented drummer, where he played with various local bands such as Sir Rob & Shakin’ Da’ System, Blackbook, Chubby Slim, Katty Whomp-Us and The Deeptones.
A loving man , he will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted fiancé Theresa Winter; daughters Tasha Burnett and Jiovanne Craighead; son Brandon Patterson; brothers Carlos Alexander and James Alexander (deceased); sisters Clara Parker, Janya (Nicie) Abdelfatah and Freddie Via. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather from 6-8 PM on August 6th, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Rd in Columbus, OH where his life will be remembered and celebrated with Funeral Services at 10AM, August 7th, 2021. Family, friends and guests will process to Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, where Military Honors will be performed.
