Patsy Ann "Pat" Pauley

Patsy Ann “Pat” Pauley, 69, of Circleville, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 16, 1941 in Circleville, the daughter of the late Franklin and Verna (Mendenhall) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther “Bud” Pauley in July 2009; her sister, Carolyn Diltz; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Pauley; and best friend and sister-in-law, Dianne Hudson Smith. Pat was a 1959 graduate of Pickaway Twp. High School. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with the neighbors. Pat always looked forward to the holidays and Pumpkin Show. She and Bud enjoyed traveling and loved going to the ocean. A very kind and giving person, Pat deeply loved her kids and grandkids and spending time with them. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey and Rob Pauley; daughter, Karen (Paul) Nagel; grandchildren, Ashley (Jimmy Martinez) Pauley, Kevin Smith, Rachel and Jacob Nagel; great-grandson, Dominick Martinez; brothers, Dave (Debbie) Smith, Franklin (Diane) Smith, Doug (Mary) Smith and Tom (Carolyn) Smith; her beloved dog, Annie; many nieces, nephews and friends. All who knew her loved her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
