Paul F. DeVere

Paul F. DeVere, Sr. age 94½, born June 1, 1923, died peacefully at home on Sunday, December 31, 2017 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Paul F. DeVere, Jr. (Rick). Paul is survived by his beautiful wife of 66 years, Jeanette; loving daughter, Marilyn (Don) Wiggins; two special grandsons, Jason (Jenny) and Ryan (Libby) Wiggins and grandsons, Ricky, Mark, and Kevin (Megan) DeVere; great grandchildren, Jackie, Lucy, Ryan Paul and Alice Wiggins, and Emma and John DeVere. Paul's greatest love was his family, he enjoyed watching football, baseball, and his movies on T.V. and reading his daily paper. He was an honest, kind and gentle man with a loving heart. Family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl Road, Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus. Fr. Tom Petry Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
