Paul L Evans

Paul L. Evans, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953. In 1954 Paul married his sweetheart and dancing partner, Patricia Goodwin of Lancaster, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, and yearly trips to Pike Lake with his longtime friends. He played Bingo and spent time in the casinos. Paul was employed by Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio and retired with 42 years of service. Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Evans who passed away on March 31, 2016; parents, Marcus and Marie Evans; and sister, Florence Ginnan; He is survived by sons, Gary (Deb) Evans, Randy Evans, Doug (Theresa) Evans, Dan (Jeannie) Evans and daughter, April Mosca; grandchildren, Jason Evans, Jessica Bayliss, Spencer Evans, and Emily and Elly Mosca; great-grandson, Aiden Evans; sister, Dee (Bob) Wilder; brother-in-law, Bob Ginnan; close friends, Elmer Stouch, Bill Thomas, Marv Holt, and Jim Kokai along with numerous other family members and friends. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna where the Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to National Church Residences Hospice, 2335 North Bank Drive, Columbus, OH 43220.
