Penny Bohannon passed away on June 1, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on January 28, 1955, Penny was a woman of great strength and heart. She touched the lives of many with her love for her family. She is survived by her children, Shannon Jamail and Brice Bohannon, her son-in-law Nathan, and her daughter-in-law Rhonda. She was a proud grandmother to Anthony, Nyla, Paige, Savannah, Dalton, and Shelbie as well as great grandmother to Annie & Lucy. Penny is also survived by her siblings Ann, Cindy, Theresa, Becky, and Frank, and her beloved nieces and nephews: Robert and Scott Strong, Keith Dobbins, Maria Decker, Mindy Sorrell, Dee Dee and Frankie Thacker, Cassidi Marcum, and Amber Petty, along with many other cherished family members and friends. Penny now joins her beloved parents in heaven, who preceded her in death, reunited in eternal peace. Her strength and spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her celebration of life will be held Friday June 6th at 4pm at Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St, Columbus OH.
