Peter DeWeese Zimpher, age 32, of Upper Arlington, Ohio passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Monday, October 31, 2022, of natural causes which are as yet undetermined. Pete graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2009 and Columbus State. At the time of his passing, he was enrolled in the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University. He truly was a gentle soul and was passionate about his work in Patient Relations at The James Cancer Hospital and most recently at The Wexner Medical Center. Pete dedicated much of his time volunteering to help our nation’s veterans. He was a true fan of the Buckeyes and Browns and cherished watching games with his family and friends. His interest in sports was only matched by his love of politics and history. Pete treasured his time with his nephews, Regan and Reid, and niece, Ryan.
