Philip J. Campanella, age 91, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was born November 13, 1922 in West New York, New Jersey to the late Alfonso and May Campanella. He was a proud U.S. Navy WWII veteran and was retired from American Electric Power. Philip loved to golf. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Philip A. Campanella; daughter, Sharon Vandal; sister, Rose Bennett, and son, Gary Rocco. Philip is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joan Campanella; daughters, Valerie (Jerry), Midge (Bob) and Jeannine; and son, Steven (Sue); sister, Marie; a host of grandkids; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
