Ray Liming

Ray was born September 11, 1952 to Russell and Esther Liming in South Columbus, Ohio. All of his family and friends knew him as "Dwight". Ray was a butcher for many years after graduating from Marion Franklin High School before retiring as an IT specialist for Merck-Medco.

Ray had a love of art and nature. His incredible artistic ability allowed him to combine these two loves onto canvas for all to enjoy. Ray always wanted family gathered together and made everyone welcome whenever they could stop. All that have come into contact with him knows his compassionate and caring nature.

Ray will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice Liming, brothers, Russell Dean Liming (Martha) and Roy David Liming (Susan), sister-in-law, Linda Liming, sons, Daniel Capps (Charlotte), Patrick Liming (Debbie), Eric Liming (Darla), and Zachary Liming, daughter Tina Evans (Daryl), 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, surrogate son, Brock Melvin and many other family members and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Esther Liming, and brother Roger Dale Liming.

A Celebration of Ray's life will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 13, at Benfield Christian Church, 146 Benfield Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43207 with Pastor Steve Sherrod officiating.
