

Rex A. Osborne, 64 passed away peacefully Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. Rex was the son of Rev. Cloyd M. and Alberta J. Osborne, of Cabot, Pa. and was a graduate of Butler area high school of Butler, Pa., and Baldwin Wallace College.
Rex was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He worked at Nationwide for 19 years before becoming an employee of Germain Ford. Rex was a true people person who brightened the lives of all who knew him. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Buckeyes and the Steelers, and golfing with family and friends. He also had a love of classic rock and classic cars. The true light of Rex's life were his sons, Matt and Eric, and his grandchildren Jaxsen, Larkyn, Rhys, and Carmen. He also loved animals including his beloved Basset Hound, Spanky.
Rex is survived by his sons, Matt (Stacie) and Eric Osborne; and grandchildren mentioned above. He is also survived by his mother Alberta Osborne, Cabot, Pa.; sister Yolanda Deemer, (Bill) Butler, Pa.; brother Tom Osborne, (Carol) Lakeside, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father Rev. Cloyd Osborne, Cabot, Pa.
