I first met Dick roughly 30 years ago at the State Surplus Auctions and we became best friends all these years.Because my background was Amish that was always a topic of conversation and Dick was really one of a kind.We discussed anything and everything for hours on the phone.Dick would call roughly every week.My late post is due to being out of town this week delivering furniture to the east coast.RIP my Friend.I will miss your voice on the phone and think of you.

Dad, I have no clue how to summarize you. You were the light of my life. You were there every step of the way. You can nor will ever be forgotten. You were the best father and friend I could have asked for plus some. I will think of you every hour of every day until we meet again. :heart:

Just found out of Dick's passing....our heart's are broken...We Will miss him terribly

Over the year I have known Dicky, his integrity and love for his family were always highlighted. He spoke so proud of his family and they became a part of my life.

We have such fond memories of Dick over the years.  Truly a unique character that had an amazing spirit.  He had so many stories and could be counted on to make you laugh. We don't know anyone that had the personality of Dick and his fullness for life.  We would run into him and his energy was always the same, grateful for his family and all the support he had over the years.  He did love and cherish his family and had such fond memories of his experiences in his life. 

He will truly be missed and thought of often as the most incredible character with a true zest or life.

Ron and Liz Morris purchased the Rainbow Of Remembrance Spray for the family of Richard J. "Dick" Hauser.

I remember Dick from our very young years at the Gulf gas station at Eakin and Harris. We graduated from West High in 64. He smile was infectious for sure. Saw him recently and he always accused me of stealing one of his girlfriends. It became a common joke every time I would see him. It really saddened me to hear of his passing. God bless Dick and his family.

Dick was like a father to me. He took me under his wing 20 years ago and taught me a lot about life and business. He taught me that no matter what my upbringing, past experiences, or circumstances in life we’re, I could still thrive. Over the years, Dick has been indirectly and directly responsible for the successes of my family. Thank you for being a part of my life Dick. Marshall Taylor

In October 1969,after a completed hitch in the Air Force,I applied for a job and was hired on at an office machine Co, This is where I met Dick,also an Air Force vet,who had been working at this same place for a short while.After being introduced, little did I know he would become "The most unforgettable character of my lifetime". If I were asked to describe Dick's personality I might make reference to it as : Intense and Highly Volatile at times on one hand while being caring and compassionate on the other.
    After retiring I worked for Dick in his "Junk & Liquidation Business". Hell, I hold the record for being his only employee to be fired then re-hired three times in the same day !
    As the years passed I became the proverbial adopted family member where I got to know the entire family. His wife Susan Jean aka "Sue" was referred to as "An Angel" by one of Dick's business associates, his daughters, whom he always bragged about, Amy "Kin" & Jackie "Bobb" his sisters, plus all the in-laws & outlaws !
    Dick was a personification of the lyrics in the song "I Did It MY Way"
May the Lord's peace & comfort be poured out on family & friends.

We were shocked and very saddened to hear of Dick’s passing. We haven’t known him long, but feel like we have known him forever. We walked with him, Tony and sometimes Susie at Scioto Grove Park. He always had the greatest stories to tell us. We will miss him very much.

After knowing Dick and spending 1000's of hours with him over the past 29 years, he became my best, most trusted, and most loyal friend. He will be missed in this life beyond words, but expect to enjoy eternity with him later! I just hope we all laugh and enjoy a moment of life every time we think of one of his hilarious "Dickyism's". If you knew him, you know what I mean. Cheers to an amazing Man!

We are so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I met  Dick thru my brother (Don Reed). We will always remember his smile, upbeat personality and wonderful friendship he had with Don for many years. We enjoyed visiting  at many of Don's special dinners. Also, listening to some of their stories they shared together.
