Richard Bruce Prior

Richard "Dick" B. Prior, 79, passed away on October 26, 2020. He was born in Salem, Ohio to the late William and Marguerite Prior on May 28, 1941. After graduating from high school, Dick served in the U.S. Air Force for several years. He then attended The Ohio State University and earned his PHD in Microbiology. From his vast knowledge in biology, he was able to patent a medical test. Dick had a passion for classical music and violins.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Prior; and nephews, Mark and Gary Prior. He will be missed by many, including his wife of 58 years, Tina; children, Pamela (Gregory) Reed, Christine (Douglas) Klions, and Richard (Kimberly) Prior; grandchildren, Allison Reed, Adam and Samantha Klions, and Kathrine and Nicholas Prior; brother, John (Jackie) Prior; and many other family members and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 10:30am. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
