Riem Tran, 87, passed away Tuesday night, January 14, 2020. He was born February 20, 1932. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maria. Riem is survived by his children; Nghiem Tran, Nhiem Tran, Hang Tran, Thang Tran and Dac Tran. Riem grew up in North Vietnam and served in the Vietnam War. Shortly after he and his family moved to America. He was a police officer and was also a carpenter later on. He loved his family very much and led by example. Riem's family will receive friends 6-8pm, Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Schoedinger North Funeral Home, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral mass will be held at St. James The Less on Saturday, January 18, 2020 with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
