I had the honor of working for and with Bob during the Sisapa days - and was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with him at the track, and watching him experience his love of racing.  He was a kind and generous man.  I'll never forget when I had my buddies at the Morning Zoo at WNCI  prank him live on-air pretending to be workers at the hangar and telling him his plane was damaged - he was calm and gracious and had a great sense of humor upon learning it was all a joke. I was so blessed to know him. Prayers to his family.

I met Bob many years ago when I worked for Sisapa Record Company. We wanted to do something special for his birthday back then. He was really into racing at the time, so I wrote the lyrics to the song "The Rock 'N' Roll Legend," and it was recorded by Sisapa artists and turned into a video that we gave to Bob for his birthday. After the record company closed, everyone went their separate ways. I eventually moved to Florida and lost track of Bob and most of the old Sisapa gang—even though Sisapa will be a part of me forever. Out of the blue several years ago, Bob sent me a friend request on Facebook. It was great to be back in touch again. His birthday came around and I sent him a CD of "The Rock And Roll Legend" as a reminder of the old record company days. I don't think he still had a copy, because he was so happy to get the CD. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Bob was a great guy who did so much for many, many people, myself included. I will never forget you, RAL. Peace.

What a truly amazing person.  I have worked for Bob Liebert for over 27 years and have always been shown such kindness.  Bob's wit and sense of humor have also kept me laughing through the years.  I can not believe that I will never see his sweet face walk into the office again or that I will never hear him tease me again about one of our many ongoing jokes. I have been so blessed to work for Bob and I will never forget him.  My prayers are with all of his dear family that he loved and adored so much. Bob was one in a million.  He was like an uncle to my two children and I will alway cherish the good times we shared at Lake Erie and in business.   He will be missed by many but is now in the greatest kingdom of all.  My prayers are with Bob's family, especially Michelle and Andrea.  Mike Leonard and family.

Bob and my brother, Ken LeCrone, became best friends working side by side in the refrigeration department at Liebert Corporation when they were in their 20s.  I remember when they used to ride their dirt bikes in the fields around Watt Road when it was just farmland.  Through the years Bob has remained a family friend, sharing our family’s mutual love of boating.  He was always so kind to my parents. When my kids were young, the racing team came to Tampa and Bob made sure that we got into the VIP area to watch the races and see the cars up close.  It was an amazing day and a sample of Bob’s generosity.  We shared a lot of laughs through the years and he will be missed very much.  My heart goes out to Susie and the entire Liebert family for your loss.  Rest in peace.

As a senior, along with Bob in 1966, we all were getting yearbook pictures done. There was some kind of rule/expectation requiring a suit or sport coat in order to get the picture made. I did not have either a suit or sport coat. Bob let me wear his coat to get my picture made! I've always been grateful, but have not seen Bob since high school to thank him. So... I have know Bob since the 70s when he worked with his father Ralph and brother Larry, and sister and brother in law at the Liebert Company and in his venture later. He was always a friendly and caring person as was the entire Liebert family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was in his life.

Bob and I became great friends while addressing an issue that pertained to him personally. Over the past two years we grew very close.  He was always a man of his word...I also got to know his family as he always talked about them, especially his grandson...It was an honor to have known him!
