Robert L. "Bob" McLaughlin, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 4, 2022. Robert was born on November 30, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles and Helen (Miller) McLaughlin. Bob proudly served his county in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He participated in the Honor Flight on November 9, 2019. Bob worked for Pressware International for many years. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, corn hole and watching OSU sports.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen McLaughlin; wife, Cathleen L. McLaughlin; brother, Ronald L. McLaughling.
Shortly after Bob's passing his son, Raymond passed on February 13, 2022.
Survived by his son, Robert (Lisa) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Cory (Kelsey Glick) McLaughlin, Brittanee (Anthony) Filio, Jacob McLauhglin, Joshua McLaughlin, Ashley (Joe) McComas and Tiffany (Corey) Granzow; great grandchildren, Dorian McLaughlin, Ryder, Elijah, Kelsey Filio, Nolan, Rhett and Waylon McComas, Peyton and Amelia Granzow; brother, Ivan (Jane) McLaughlin and his family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 11-1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 with Brian Sponseller officiating. Internment Obetz Cemetery. Visit www. Heartandhope.com
