

Robert F. Morgan, Sr. Bob Morgan, 82, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2010 surrounded by his loving family in the Ohio home of his eldest son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Debbie Morgan. He was a long-time resident of Erie, PA; Largo, FL and most recently The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus, OH.
Bob was an outstanding all-around athlete and was elected to the Erie Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He spent decades teaching and coaching in the Erie Public School System. He served as a Eucharist Minister and was active in the Cursillo Movement. Bob welcomed many friends who became part of his treasured family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Laura Morgan and his siblings, Kenneth and Harriet. He is survived by the love of his life, Donna, his wife of 62 years and their children: daughter, Sue of Erie, PA; sons, Bob (Debbie) of Powell, OH; Tom (Julie) of Merrill, WI; Dave (Anne) of Worthington, OH and “adopted daughter” Kathleen Lewis of Erie, PA; grandchildren: Rob (Mandi), Christy (Jake), Melissa, Matthew, Amanda (Jay), Trevor, Kelsea, Billy and several great grandchildren.
