Robert Nelson Mullins

Robert "Bob" Nelson Mullins, 85, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018. Born March 11, 1932 in The Plains, Athens County, Ohio. Bob graduated from Hilliard High School, class of 1950. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and went on to become a family man and always worked hard for a living. He retired from Westinghouse Electric and the State of Ohio. Bob was known as being the handyman for everyone, and if he was not able to fix it, then it was considered "broke". His sense of humor could light up a room, and he enjoyed playing cards, darts and learning any bar trick he could just to get a good laugh. He is survived by children: Ernest Mullins, Ronald (Kila) Mullins, Patsy (Paul) Carringer, Donna (Robert) Sergent and Timmy Mullins. He is also survived by sister, Carolyn Mullins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Pauline (Garrett) Mullins; parents, Marion and Juanita (Katzenbach) Mullins; siblings, Richard Mullins, John Mullins, Raymond Mullins, Marion Mullins Jr., William Mullins, Evelyn Long, Arlene Lemley, and Marilyn Mullins. The family would like to thank everyone at Villa Angela Care Center and Bella Care Hospice for all their love, support and care during this difficult time.
