

Robert J. “Bobby” Peffers II, age 52, passed away at his home on Friday, February 4, 2011. He was born in Columbus on August 6, 1958, to the late Robert J. Peffers, Sr., and Pauline B. (Cassel) Peffers. Bobby is survived by his loving spouse of 29 ½ years, John D. “Jackie” Cassady II, and by “his boys,” Rocky and Mickey. He is also survived by his siblings, Daisy Bentley and Clark A. Peffers; father- and mother-in-law, John D. and Frieda Cassady; brothers-in-law, Steve Cassady and Michael “Mick” Cassady; nephews and families, Matthew A. (Michelle), Scott, Austin, and Danielle Smith, and Edward J. (Megan) and Addison Smith; second mom, Iris and her family; and other family and friends, Dean and Juanita Cassady, Gary Bowers, Larry S. and Larry M. He was preceded in death by twin William H. Peffers, and brother James E. Cassel; and by mother-in-law, Alverda Cassady. Bobby enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and he loved to make people happy. He was generous and caring, and had a great sense of humor. He was a joyful person, full of life and character.
