Robert Joseph Puccio

Robert J. Puccio, age 52 of Columbus, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. Bob was born in Minnesota, son of Robert Puccio and the late Sharon Puccio. Bob graduated with a Master's degree from the University of Dayton. Following college Bob worked for Huntington Bank and then went on to work with Nationwide Insurance. Throughout Bob's 25 years at Nationwide, he progressed through several positions, eventually advancing to Sr. Vice President. Bob was a generous, intelligent, dedicated and hardworking man. He had a strong faith in God and was an inspiration to many who knew him. He was a board member of the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, member of the Columbus School Board Audit Committee, University of Dayton Alumni Association, and a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. He enjoyed thoroughbred horse racing, boating, and was a Minnesota Vikings fan, most of all, Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Joyce Antle Puccio; sons, Ben (Melissa) and Zak (Chelsea) Antle; grandchildren, Nate, Leah, Bella, and Grace Antle; father, Robert Puccio; sister, Beth (Dean) Nakamura; brother, Thomas Puccio; nieces, Jennifer, Julia, and Jane Nakamura and Ashley Holladay; nephew, Alex Hopkins; and many other close friends and extended family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., where family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Friday and a Prayer Vigil will begin at 4 P.M. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 711 E.
