Roberta Marie Harris

Roberta Marie "Bert" Harris, age 90, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born November 11, 1926 in Ottawa, Ontario to the late Hector and Florence (Byles) D'Eall. She loved spending time with family and friends. Throughout her life, she held many different jobs. Most notably was her time working for the railroad and retiring after many years as the food supervisor for the Johnstown Northridge Local Schools. She was an avid cook, baker and she did love a good donut! Many nieces and nephews remember her homemade spaghetti dinners fondly. She was very active in her daughter's (and grandchildren's) school activities throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Harris; sister, Iris North (Bob); and brother, George D'Eall (Hazel). Bert is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca Kauffeld; two granddaughters, Emily and Brenna Kauffeld; grandson, Mason Kauffeld; her best buddy, beloved cat Ebony; her close in-laws whom many referred to as "The 3 Musketeers", Mary "Sis" (Dale) Spearman and Donna (Carroll) Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close family friends. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the 1 p.m. memorial service on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City.
