Samuel Luffey

Samuel Edward Luffey, age 21, of Upper Arlington, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 19. Sam attended Marburn Academy and graduated from Upper Arlington High School class of 2012 and was currently attending Columbus State Community College.

Sam was a kind, loving, compassionate soul who endeared himself to so many people. Sam was always there to help anyone in need. Sam worked for Petco and most recently the Wexner Center for the Arts. Preceded in death by grandmother Mary Joan Miely, grandfather Edward Herbert Luffey. Survived by loving parents Lynn and Ed Luffey, brother Will, grandfather William D. Miely and grandmother Constance Luffey. Many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Father Nicholas Droll and Father Michael Watson will concelebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:00pm on Thursday, April 23 at St Andrew Parish 1899 McCoy Road Columbus 43220. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Family will greet friends at the church immediately following service.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in Sam's name to Marburn Academy New Building fund, 1860 Walden Drive, Columbus OH 43229.
