Sandra Kay Bennett

Sandra Kay Bennett (Sparr-Swick) "Sandy"- age 75 died peacefully on April 30, 2017 at Country View of Sunbury Nursing Home, Sunbury, Ohio from complications due to Alzheimer's. Sandy was born January 22, 1942 the only daughter of Margaret (Ward) and Glenn Sparr of Geneva, Ohio. Sandy grew up in Geneva Ohio, moved to Florida in 1982 and returned to her home state of Ohio in 2005. Sandy received her Florida State Nursing Assistants Certification in1984 and supported her community by helping others. Sandy's love for all animals, especially cats and horses, will be greatly missed. Sandy's passions included, traveling with her husband Ed, watching the Steelers, sewing, crafts and her children and grandchildren. Sandy's husband of 28 years, Edward S Bennett preceded her in death in 2011. Sandy is survived by her three children she had with her previous husband "Woody" Sherwood Swick (preceded her in death in 2014): Dolora Schumacher (James), Glenn Swick, and James Swick (Theresa) both of Ashtabula; and grandchildren Jessica, Jarod and Tyler. The family would like to thank Country View of Sunbury and Bella Care Hospice for their support and care during Sandy's time with them.
