I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy.  May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible.  In particular the scripture found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Nancy and I have appreciated Sandy over the years.  Sandy had been very kind and helpful to us during our many stays at Short North B&B when we came back home to Columbus to help my elderly parents. Upon dad's death in 2009 and mom's in 2011 it was a great joy to have our entire family stay together at Short North. Our prayers are with all of Sandy's family. Friendships come and go, but good, deep ones endure for 40 years.  These powerful friendships last because of respect, mutual interests, love of each other's children, a desire for the other to do the best they can and be the best that they can be and a healthy dose of humor.  Our friendship with Sandy and Don has all of these elements and much more.  We are grateful for the wonderful times that we have had with them as a couple and look forward to supporting all of the family in the days ahead.

I will always remember when Scott and Christy wre very little and suffering from CF how Sandy willed the to live despite little hope being given to her by the medical community. Defeat was never in her vocabulary. I will also always remeber what a great help she was to my daughter, Heather, when she had a special needs child, Carolyn, born to her and Kevin. Finally, I will never forget what a great cook she was and how I always looked forward to going to her house for dinner. Bob Hendrix
