Sarah Imogene VanHoose

Sarah is survived by her children Diana Holycross, Dorothy Lynn, and Lee (Shelley) Ditty. Sisters Doris Stewart and Jeannie Donta. Grandchildren Jim (MaryBeth) Holycross, Rich (Bonnie) Holycross, Heather (Darrin) Meenach, Amanda (Brian) Hoffsis, Jason Hart and Tim Theado. Great-grandchildren, Drew (Lesslie) Meenach, Brant (Candace) Theado, Alyson (Billy) Smith, Zane Meenach (Ella Seaman), Andrew Holycross, Nathan Holycross, Eli Holycross, Lydia Hoffsis, Gianna Hoffsis, and Bobby Hoffsis. She also had 7 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters, her granddaughter Kellie Theado, her first husband Walter Ditty, as well as by her second husband, Jack VanHoose.

Sarah grew up on a dairy farm in Kentucky. She not only had numerous siblings to grow up with but raised quite the family of her own. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren held a very important spot in her heart, and she made sure they knew it.
