Shannon Kay Aranda

Shannon was born February 20, 1969 in Las Vegas NV to Shelia J. Lamson and Thomas A. Aranda.

She spent her childhood growing up in New Orleans, graduated from Eldarado High School Las Vegas in 1987, she then went on to become a surgical medical technician and worked at the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center at Nellis AFB Las Vegas, NV. Years later she returned to college at the Culinary Institute of Denver Colorado where she earned her Associate’s & Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts and culinary management. Shannon lived her dream and was a Sou chef at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, where she enjoyed meeting and cooking for major celebrities. Shannon again returned to college at age 50 where she studied for her Parental CNA certification at the South Denver School of Nursing Arts. She spent her adult life living in Nevada, California, Colorado and Ohio

Shannon was full of life clear till the end. She loved cooking and creating new and delicious meals, she was an amazing mother to three boys, and was constantly playing second mom to all her children’s friends. She enjoyed country music and 80s rock, and going to concerts with her middle son. Shannon always made every day an adventure. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her boys and she got to travel the world seeing places such as Germany, Austria and Prague.

In addition to her Parents Shannon is preceded in death by her grandmother Patricia Lamson age 77 aunt Pamela Fore age 38 Great-Uncle Gary Courtney Age 68 And grandson Atticus Rubiss Age 7 months

Shannon is survived by her husband Jason A. Wolfe age 55. Her Sons; Jarred M. Mendenhall age 34 (Tanya), Joshua T. Gunderson age 27, and Matthew D. Wolfe age 14. Brother, Michael A Diza age 59 (Kathy). Grandchildren; Deanna L. Rubiss age 15 and Chrysanthemum A. Rubiss age 11 Cousins; Dawn Linares age 56, and Jenny Loza age 54 (David) as well as various other family and friends.

Family will accept friends on 2/20/2025 @2:00pm at Connect Church, 162 Belle Ave. Delaware, OH 43015 for Memorial and Celebration Life. Donations for food and flowers can be made to $CrankyTeddy via Cashapp, Chime or Venmo. All left over donations will be split and donated to Shannon’s favorite charities.
