Stephan Grant Schaaf, age 75, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at home. Stephan was born on February 24, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio. Stephan graduated from West high School. He worked side by side with his sister at VIP Realty. He enjoyed NASCAR, baseball and dancing. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; mother, Hazel M. Patton Schaaf; and father, George W. Schaaf. Survived by his loving sister, Barbara Schaaf Hinely; special nephew, A. Sean (Katherine) Hinely; great niece, Gabrielle and great nephew, Lawton; Uncle, Eugene and Florine Schaaf; best friend, Aubrey L. Hinely; many cousins; friends, Hubert McNeely, Ken Nimbs, John Travis; Teresa and neighbor, Jim. Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
