Stephen Eldon Bernard, age 69, of Grove City, went to his Heavenly Home, on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was born and raised in Sabina, Ohio and graduated from Grove City High School. He was a retired Union Pipefitter and member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #189. Steve loved to watch sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dimples Bernard; sister, Sharon Reynolds; and brother, Robert Bernard; stepdaughter, Trisha Hudson. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda; daughters, Lora (Keith) Grubb, Kelly Bernard, and Brandi (John) Bernard; stepson, Greg ("Bootsie") Chester; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Dauberman, Jenny (Cyd) Diefenbach, Jeanette Somers, and Walter Bernard. A visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus with interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
