Stephen P. McAllister

Stephen was born on December 8, 1971 to Philip E. McAllister II and Martha Louise Bizot, in Corvallis, Oregon. He graduated High School from St. Maria Goretti in Hagerstown, MD class of ’90. After high school, he attended the University of Virginia and earning his under graduate degree in Commerce, following up with his Jurist Doctorate in Law. While at the University of Virginia he met Miss Kimberly Mathews, and talked her into marring him on September 30, 1995. They celebrated over 15 years together before his passing. From this union came their 2 sons; Owen Philip McAllister, and Grant Everett McAllister.

Stephen was an avid golfer, traveler and wine connoisseur, but his greatest moments were the ones spent with his family. Whether it was traveling with his wife Kim, or making Mushy birthday cakes with his boys, he cherished every moment. Stephen was a gentleman and a great husband, father, son, and brother. Stephen touched many people during his life time, and He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Stephen is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hyland and Lucille Bizot; paternal grandfather, Roman Walewski; and mother in law, Joan Mathews

Along with his wife Kimberly and his 2 sons, Stephen is also survived by his parents, Philip (Kathleen) McAllister of WV, Martha Bizot McAllister of KY; brother, Alex (Julie) McAllister of KY; grandparents, Philip Sr. and Margaret McAllister of MD, and Virginia Walewski of FL; He is also survived by parent in laws William (Deborah) Mathews of NC, brother in law of Keirsten (Gregory) Davis of VA; nieces, Kristina, Katelynne, Kaylee, and Ella; nephews, Benjamin, and Daniel

Stephen’s family will be receiving friends at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 31 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Owen & Grant McAllister College Fund at any 5/3 bank.
