

Steve Farber, age 63, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the OSU Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Agnes Farber and a brother Donovan, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 25 wonderful years, Pamela Thomas Farber; daughters Ashley and Alyson; son Andrew (Brooke) Farber and grandson David; brothers John (Carol) Farber, and their sons Tom and Jon; Ken (Jennifer) Farber, and their children Donovan, Chris, Daniel, and Cameron; Nick (Kim) Farber and their sons Craig, Matt, and Brian; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. Steve graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1965 and in 1970 from The Ohio State University College of Engineering with a B.S. in Computer and Information Science. With his father, three brothers, and many dedicated associates he developed four successful enterprises: Farber RV, Magic Mountain Entertainment, Farber Specialty Vehicles, and Custom Coach. Steve lived life to the fullest and his joy was infectious. He was passionate about his family and his work and loved to travel anywhere in the world and experience the outdoors. An avid OSU fan, he loved skiing, riding his Harley, photography, Jimmy Buffett, and spending time with his family and good friends. He was a member of the Athletic Club of Columbus, and Scioto Country Club. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road. Father Daniel Ochs officiating. Friends may call at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 ZOLLINGER ROAD on Sunday from 1-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery in New Albany.
