Steven Joseph Reynolds

Born on August 4, 1964, in San Bernardino, California, Steve was the beloved son of Otalee June (Wellman) Reynolds and the late Bobby Joe Reynolds. A talented chef by trade and a kind soul by nature, Steve lived life with passion and warmth. He found joy in camping, grilling, soaking up the sunshine, running, and watching his favorite show, Jeopardy.

Professionally, Steve was a dedicated and respected leader; he served as a church leader at Crossway Community Church in Kirkersville and as both District and General Manager for IHop, Cracker Barrel, and Boston Market, where he was known not only for his hard work and leadership but also for being the "Best Boss Ever."

Steve leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly: his mother, June Reynolds; his fiancée, Christina Balling; his children, Eric Reynolds, Grace Reynolds, and Danielle Brown; his bonus daughter, Katelyn Cordle; and his grandson, Austin Tilton. He is also survived by his brother, Michael (Gayle) Reynolds; sister, Cathy Burgoon; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 12:00 pm-1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Steve will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Steve’s legacy of love, laughter, and leadership will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
