Steve was a 1957 graduate of South High School and served in the U.S. Army Air as a chopper and fixed wing mechanic. He retired from Crane Plastics and was a Past President of The Columbus Transportation Club. After retiring, he enjoyed working on his own, remodeling, inventing and building whatever a client needed.
Steve is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (Moeller) Walters; daughters Dawn (Phil) Osborn of Columbus, Diane Walters of CA, Deborah (James) Pauly of CA and son Dr. Dana (Tonya) Walters of Dublin, OH; seven grandchildren, Jim and Jasmine Pauly, Mathew, McKenna, Evan and McLaren Walters and Savanna Osborn.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM Friday, June 12, 2015 with visitation to follow from 6-8PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON, 6699 North High Street. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus 43214.
